Early Bird Market - "Where Change Takes Root"

Early Bird Market was born from a simple observation: after hours at the farmers market, vendors were going home with unsold food while the community still struggled with access to fresh, local ingredients. I knew there had to be a better way... a way to support both families and small farmers, to reduce waste, and to create a hub of knowledge and connection, right here in Bartlesville.

Early Bird Market blossomed while navigating post-partum life, long, delirious nights, and a LOT of inspiration from the video game "Stardew Valley". Slowly, I started my own farm, left my regional manager job, sold at the farmers market, and built the market from the ground up. Bare walls, empty shelves, and a big dream. It was all made real thanks to friends, family, and local vendors who shared the vision.

Today, Early Bird Market is more than a store. It's a place where:
Transparency matters - you know exactly what you are buying
Regenerative practices are prioritized, supporting small farms and the environment.
Community connection thrives; from farmers to families, we're all in this together
Education empowers; learn what goes into your food, how to cook it, and how to reduce waste.

Every dollar spent here stays local, supporting families, our team, and Bartlesville itself.

I want you to feel welcomed, informed, and energized when you visit, and never overwhelmed. We are here to answer your questions and help you make choices that feel good for your table and our community.

Our vision? To become the go-to choice over big-box convenience stores. A place where everyone in Bartlesville knows their food, their providers, and the positive impact their purchases make. Together, we can create lasting change - one basket, one conversation, one connection at a time.
